Welcome to Fallen Oak Ranch.  We are the George Family.  Our beautiful ranch is in Wimberley, Texas, located in the Hill Country between San Antonio and Austin.  We raise registered Tennessee Fainting Goats, Boer percentage goats, and Boer/Fainting goat cross meat goats (chevon and cabrito), beef cattle, swine, eggs, rabbits, and seasonal produce.  All our animals are cage-free, and most are pasture raised.  Call ahead for a visit!

Updates: 

• Get ready for turkeys!  June 1 we will be ordering turkey chicks to raise for Thanksgiving delivery.  We hope to have a mix of both heirloom and standard broadbreast birds.  If you are interested, please contact us.
• Spring 2009: The spring garden is on its way. By May we should be seeing the first tomatoes and April will bring the first strawberries. Check out the Produce page for a complete list of our 2009 planting.

• Eggs!  Our newest layers are gearing up production of delicious all natural, cage-free eggs. $2 dozen.
• All Natural Fertilizer - several folks have asked us about natural manure fertilizers from our animals. We offer Bag-your-Own for 5 lbs/$1, your choice of manure or mix them up. Rabbit and chicken manure both make excellent garden additives, and cattle manure is great to "heat up" your compost pile or make great compost tea. Contact us to make an appointment to stop by.
